What do we insure?
The theft of the bicycle at the private residence, second home, storage room, or during transportation. Theft is understood as the total subtraction or illegitimate seizure of the insured property that occurs against the will of the insured through acts involving force or violence on things.
Coverage duration
The policy takes effect at the time of contracting and will remain valid for 1 year. It can be renewed at the customer's request by providing the IBAN account number before the expiration date to set up direct debit payments.
What to do in case of an accident?
Claims must be reported within a maximum period of 7 days from the date they occur. The policyholder must contact Quadis Seguros by email siniestros@quadisseguros.es or by phone at 932892500. It will be a requirement for the insurer to have the theft report and the invoice in the policyholder's name.
Insured value
The compensation in case of theft will consist of the new value during the first year and subsequently an annual depreciation of 10% will be applied.
Security Requirements-Lock
For the purposes of this coverage, security locks approved are understood as those specially designed for bicycles with a minimum level 3 of resistance accredited by the certifying company.
Civil liability and assistance
Civil Liability with a limit of €300,000 to cover the pecuniary consequences of civil liability that may arise from the insured party, for personal, material damages and/or direct losses caused involuntarily and accidentally to third parties due to amateur practice. The assistance consists of providing the necessary materials and personal help to enable the insured party to overcome emergency situations that occur during routes, displacements, and/or trips. The geographical scope is the EU from the km of their usual residence.
